Last night, while working on another project, I came across a short video clip from Christmas. It brought tears to my eyes watching you sing with Madi to Alvin and the Chipmunks "Please Christmas Don't be Late" and just to hear your voice. I had such a good time with you and am so happy that I had that opportunity to hang out that one last time. I chuckled to myself in the midst of my tears thinking about you and my dad performing "nine ladies dancing" at that family party, too. I am so thankful for all of the good memories. It eases the pain of missing you a bit. Probably random to look at a Christmas video clip in spring, but it was there and I needed to see it. Miss you much and always will.
